Cloud Architecture
Server instances and database services reside within a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). Network access to those instances is controlled through VPC configuration and security groups, with separate public and private subnet groups.
Data Security
Server credentials are protected using Identity & Access Management (IAM) with a complete audit trail. Instance access is permitted only over SSH, SSL and TLS. Database instances sit inside a private subnet within the VPC, with security groups controlling accessibility at the IP-address level.
Data Encryption
Database instances are secured using the industry-standard AES-256 encryption algorithm, and are synchronously replicated.
Compliance
Tarslink runs on cloud infrastructure whose data centres hold major international certifications (including ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2). Our own posture is designed India-first — aligned to the IRDAI information- and cyber-security framework and the DPDP Act 2023, with data localisation and encryption in transit and at rest. Formal SOC 2 Type II certification is planned for 2026.
Disaster Recovery
Tarslink's cloud architecture spans cross-region availability zones, with continuous backup and restore services.
