Cloud Architecture
Server instance, database service residing in virtual private cloud (VPC).
Network access control to the instances, through VPC configuration and security groups, public and private
subnet groups.
Data Security
Server credentials are protected using Identity Access Management (IAM) with complete audit trail. Instance access
are only allowed using SSH, SSL and TLS. DB instances located within a private subnet inside VPC with security
groups controlling accessibility at IP address level.
Data Encryption
DB instances are secured using industry standard AES-256 encryption algorithm and are synchronously replicated.
Compliance
Tarslink inherits the most comprehensive compliance controls with AWS. AWS supports 143 security standards and compliance certifications, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, FedRAMP, GDPR, FIPS 140-2, and NIST 800-171, which takes care of compliance requirements around the globe.
Disaster Recovery
Tarslink cloud architecture has cross-region availibality zones with continuous backup and restore service.
